William F. Ogilvie
President & CEO

Bill has more than 20 years of experience developing implants for the upper extremities. He was a founding member of Ascension Orthopedics and helped grow the company to $12 million per year in sales. He was responsible for the development and launch of multiple pyrocarbon extremity implants. He has been awarded 15 medical device patents. Bill later developed the Nexgen Spine elastomeric disc which was successfully sold to K2M.

Alastair Clemow, Ph.D.

Alastair has over 35 years of experience in the orthopedic market with various roles in R&D, business development, and executive management. He was responsible for numerous M&A activities, including the acquisition of DePuy by Johnson & Johnson, and has served on the board of both private and public companies including Aevi Genomics, Encore Medical, and BioMedical Enterprises. Dr. Clemow is a past President of the Society for Biomaterials. He graduated with a Ph.D. in metallurgy and earned his MBA in Finance from Columbia University in New York.

Sandie Roth
VP of Operations

Sandie has over 15 years of experience in product development, quality, clinical, regulatory, marketing, and commercialization of spine and upper extremity devices. Additionally, Sandie has managed OUS pre-market clinical studies for US and EU approval. She has worked for large orthopedic companies, including Biomet, and small start-up companies, including Nexgen Spine. Sandie holds an MSc in Medical Biophysics and a BASc in Mechanical Engineering.

Sonia Champlin
VP of Sales & Marketing

Sonia has 25 years of sales leadership experience, launching multiple new products into the market at both start-up and established organizations. This included the initial launch of the Ascension Orthopedics upper extremity pyrocarbon line of implants into the EU, US, and Australia. Throughout her career, Sonia has led the development and implementation of surgeon education programs, assembled and managed hybrid sales forces, and provided hands-on clinical support.
